Sensational singer, Simi has shared her thoughts about the continuous spread of the coronavirus.

Taking to her Instagram page, the “Ayo” singer pointed out that the elderly ones are the ones at risk and that they should be guided properly. She also added that everyone should use their platform to create awareness for the disease and also to implore everyone to stay at home.

Also, I realise our parents/grandparents are stubborn. The people that need to be most protected are the most resistant. But beg them to stay home. Share as much information/pictures with them. Tell them they’re at higher risk.

If they insist on going to church, show them the stories of churches abroad where the virus spread. These religious heads need to start being more responsible. People respect you – ACT LIKE YOU DESERVE THE RESPECT. Be compassionate and tell your followers to stay home.

They listen to you!! The country has been shut down for less trivial things before etc…somehow we got by. Now let’s do it for something way more important. For our lives.We’ve been governing ourselves on a lot of things that matter for a while now, we have no choice but to continue. Please ??
