Real Madrid have been hit by the news that winger Lucas Vazquez is set for another spell on the sidelines after fracturing a toe in his left foot.
The Spanish giants were unable to specify how long the 28-year-old would be out for.
It is a disappointing blow for the 28-year-old, who sustained an injury in the previous international break and only returned in time for Real’s final game before the most recent interval.
Manager Zinedine Zidane started him in their 4-0 win over Eibar and Vazquez produced a promising display.
Real are currently second to Barcelona in the La Liga standings on goal difference.
They resume domestic action on Saturday at home against Real Sociedad.
