The summer transfer window is shut, but clubs can still bring in players that are not registered to any team currently 

The brother of forgotten Super Eagles striker Junior Lokosa, Anthony Lokosa, has signed for Almeria’s reserve team.

Lokosa will hope to put his career back on track with the latest move following a difficult 12 months. He has been without a club since his loan spell at Haras Hodoud from Pharco FC expired in October last year.

The 24 -year-old is the brother of Nigerian international Junior Lokosa, who is also without a club since he was released by Tanzanian club Simba SC in March. 

Junior joined Simba SC as a free agent after leaving Esperance FC but only stayed at the club for just two months.

The 28-year-old is a Nigerian international with one cap to his name, which came in the friendly game against the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2018.
