The ratings of the players for this year’s FIFA video game have been released, and two Nigerian stars stood out from the rest
EA Sports have released the ratings of the top 100 players in the latest version of its FIFA video game, and once again, Wilfred Ndidi is the highest rated Nigerian star.
Ndidi was the highest-rated Nigerian in last year’s version, FIFA 21, with a rating of 84, and has retained his spot in this year’s version, FIFA 22.
Ndidi saw an increase in his rating, with the Nigerian international now rated 85. It’s enough to put him in the top 100 players in the game, which was not the case last year.
The Leicester City midfielder was ranked 134th in the world last year, but he’s the 82nd best player in the game this year. He’s also the Foxes second highest-rated player after Jamie Vardy, who is rated 86.
Meanwhile, Ndidi is not the only outstanding Nigerian player in the game. Chidera Ejuke, who is known for his dribbling skills, is the seventh-fastest player in the game with a 94 pace and a rating of 74.
Surprisingly, he was only given 78 for his dribbling.
Overall, Lionel Messi is the highest-rated player in the game with a rating of 93. He’s followed by Robert Lewandowski (92) and Cristiano Ronaldo (91).
FIFA 22 is scheduled for an October 1st release date.
