Samuel Chukwueze: Super Eagles star offered to 16-time Super Lig champions

Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze has been offered to 16-time Turkish Super Lig champions Besiktas due to his struggle for game time at AC Milan, Soccernet.ng reports.

Chukwueze has failed to make a significant impression at AC Milan since his €21.1 million transfer from Villareal last year.

Last season, the 25-year-old forward registered three goals and three assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. This season, he has gotten three goals and one assist in 21 appearances, but most of them have been off the bench.

The Nigerian has never been short of suitors, and due to his struggle for game time, there has been a lot of talk about a possible exit for Chukwueze.

Now, according to Milan Posts Chukwueze’s agents have offered him to former Turkish giants Besiktas.

However, it is unlikely that any deal will happen during the January transfer window. Also, the Rossoneri will be looking to make something close to the €20 million which they paid for Chukwueze, and it is unlikely that Besiktas will be willing to pay up that that.

Meanwhile, Arsenal, who are long-time admirers of Chukwueze could push for a deal in January due to the recent injury to star man Bukayo Saka. Chukwueze would also prefer to move to a club with Arsenal’s stature instead of a Turkish club.
