Liverpool’s title hopes suffered a setback as they played out an astonishing 4-4 draw with Arsenal at Anfield.
Andrey Arshavin netted all four of Arsenal’s goals in a topsy-turvy encounter and looked to have secured victory with a fantastic breakaway effort with moments to go, but there was still time for Yossi Benayoun to snatch a point for Liverpool and send them, temporarily at least, back to the top of the Premier League table.
