Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. has issued a stern warning to all political parties in Ghana not to use his picture on any political campaign or platform.

The Dancehall King gave this announcement via pages of all his social media accounts.

He also indicated in the post that any political party that wants to use his image should do the right thing by contacting his office for the necessary paper works to be smoothly carried out.

Shatta Wale has strong affiliations with the two major political parties in the country that is the NDC and NDC and knowing well how the respective parties could capitalize on that for their political gains, hence his warning.

In a post on Facebook he wrote;

Moving forward No one should use my picture or my brand on any political campaign or platforms. Myself and my loyal fans will support and cooperate with any person who Ghanaians elect as their president..
