#MrKingYouthCentre #CleanPortHarcourt
Mr King, a visionary and philanthropist from Port Harcourt, Rivers State initiated a project tagged “KEEP PORT HARCOURT CLEAN“. The nonprofit project, solely funded by Mr King started off with hiring over 200 young people who cleaned and evacuated the massive dump of refuse trapped in virtually all the streets of Port Harcourt.
The huge buzz created by this magnanimous gesture by Mr King proves in no small measure the impact this move has made in the hearts of overjoyed residents and visitors of the city.
Mr King also has #MrKingYouthCentre, a youth centre built solely for the purpose of providing job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the state. The centre is located at Iwofe community, Rumuorlumeni town in Port Harcourt.
Mr King is encouraging unemployed youths who want to change their status, to come and register with the youth centre at no cost, as it will be on the basis of ‘first come, first serve’, no tribalism or nepotism!
This is a first from a young apolitical and development minded, authentic son of the Port Harcourt soil. We the bloggers in the city are honored to publish this news.
