It is no longer news that Burna boy was nominated for the 62nd Grammy Awards. An award that all artistes are longing to win because of how prestige it is.
The African Giant singer’ nomination was announced in a statement on the Grammy Awards’ website on Wednesday. (READ HERE)
He was shortlisted for his album, ‘African Giant’ in the Best World Music Album category.
The category, according to the organizers, is for albums containing at least 51 per cent playing time of new vocal or instrumental world music recordings.
Burna Boy is also the first Nigerian act to me nominated for for BET award, MTV EMA and also the Grammy in a single year.
