DJ Maphorisa is famously known to be a lover of luxury wears from brands like Gucci, but a fan poked him this Saturday, urging him to patronize local designers in SA.
The fan compared him to South Africans who don’t listen to local music.
“When are you wearing @DRIPFootWear or @bathu_sa? You not different to locals that don’t listen to local music busy acting like ambassadors who don’t even consider us as a market,” tweep said.
In response, the DJ says he’s responsible for whatever he wears as he has the money, and he’s been a lover of expensive wears before the launch of some of these local brands.
