Governor Babagana Zulum’s Chief of Staff, Babagana Wakil is dead.
Spokesperson to the Governor of Borno States, Isa Gusau, made this known in a statement on Wednesday afternoon.
He said that Wakil died on Wednesday morning, adding that details of his death were yet undisclosed.
Gusau added that the remains of the Chief of Staff will be buried today in consonance with Islamic rites.
The terse statement added,
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. Jana’iza of late chief of staff, Dr Babagana Wakil is to hold 4pm today at his extended family residence in Shehuri North, Maiduguri.”
